Privacy Policy

In short: this website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics tools. No external services, fonts or scripts are loaded. Personal data is only processed in the technically necessary server logs and when you contact me. This is a courtesy translation; the German version is legally binding.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Köln, Germany. When you visit the website, the web server automatically records the following data in log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• requested page or file and amount of data transferred
• status code of the request
• referrer URL (previously visited page), if transmitted by the browser
• browser type and operating system (user agent)

This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is my legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted after 14 days unless it is needed for longer to investigate a security incident.

3. Cookies, tracking and external content

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. Fonts and all other files are loaded exclusively from this server.

The website contains a link to my LinkedIn profile. This is a plain link: data is only transmitted to LinkedIn when you click it. Processing on LinkedIn is governed by the privacy policy of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.

4. Contacting me by e-mail or phone

If you contact me by e-mail or phone, I process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to respond. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise my legitimate interest in responding pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Simply contact office@ferrisol.com.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Austrian Data Protection Authority), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
